Age & ID Verification
Everyone who uses Rise's services as a creator is required to verify their age and identity with official documents. We do not provide services to accounts that cannot be verified. For co-performers appearing in content, when concerns are identified we request submission of the documents and require that they be provided.
Why we are thorough
It is the minimum condition for a platform to earn society's trust — and it protects everyone involved.
Protecting minors
We ensure — through both technology and operations — that no minor is ever involved as a party to content.
Protecting creators
We prevent fraudulent use by impersonators, keeping each creator's track record and earnings reliably tied to the creator themselves.
Protecting fans and society
So that the service never becomes a breeding ground for illegal transactions or exploitation, only appropriate users pass through the entrance to the service.
Registration process for creators
- 01
Enter your personal information
You register basic information such as your name, date of birth, contact details, and bank account information.
- 02
Submit an official document
You upload an identity document such as a driver's license, My Number card, passport, or residence card.
- 03
Facial matching
You take a selfie so we can confirm that you are the same person as in the photo on the document.
- 04
Screening by an external identity verification service
The submitted information is passed to an external identity verification service, which technically verifies the authenticity of the document and the identity of the person.
- 05
Notification of the result
We normally notify you of the result within 1–3 business days. If verification was not possible, we will send you instructions for resubmission.
Verifying co-performers' age and consent to appear
For posts in which co-performers appear in video or photos, we require an attestation at the time of posting that identity verification and appearance consent documents have been concluded for every co-performer. Where concerns are identified, we require submission of those documents and restrict functionality until they are verified.
Identity documents
Co-performers submit official documents to the same standard as creators. If, despite our request, the documents cannot be verified, the content in question is subject to being made private.
Appearance consent documents
Co-performers sign, of their own free will, a document that clearly states the scope of the appearance, the media on which it will be published, the period of use, and the procedure if consent is withdrawn.
Document storage
Documents are stored in a secure, access-controlled area and remain inaccessible to anyone other than authorized personnel.
Handling withdrawal of consent
If a performer personally requests withdrawal, the content in question is, as a rule, promptly made private.
Ongoing verification after registration
Detection of suspicious usage patterns
If we detect behavior unlikely to be the account holder's own — based on login activity, transaction patterns, and other signals — we may ask you to complete additional verification.
Re-verification when key details change
When information tied to your identity — such as your name, address, or bank account details — is changed, we verify again before applying the change.
How submitted information is handled
Documents and information submitted for identity verification are used only for the purposes of identity and age verification and for compliance with applicable laws. We do not disclose them to third parties except in response to lawful requests from law enforcement, government agencies, and similar authorities. For details, please see our Privacy Policy.
